Privacy Policy
Draft — should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.
Moletools provides free online tools. We aim to collect as little data as possible and to delete what we do handle quickly. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the site.
What we handle
For most tools we do not require an account and do not ask for personal information. Basic technical data (such as IP address and request logs) may be processed temporarily to operate the service, prevent abuse, and keep it secure.
Temporary email content
The temporary email tool receives messages sent to the disposable address you are given. Message content and any attachments are stored only so you can read them, and are deleted automatically after a short period (or when you delete the inbox). Addresses can be reserved for a few days at most. We do not read your messages except as needed to operate or secure the service.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember your current temporary inbox so you can return to it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Sharing and legal requests
We do not sell your data. We may disclose information if required by law or to respond to abuse. Some infrastructure providers (such as hosting) process data on our behalf.
Your rights, abuse reports, and contact
Depending on your location you may have rights to access or delete your data. Because temporary data is deleted automatically and quickly, much of it may no longer exist. For privacy questions or to report abuse, contact us at: abuse@mole.tools
